The Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, with determination assumed by the Regional Commission of Friuli Venezia Giulia, has decreed the Carnia – Tolmezzo – Villa Santina railway of cultural interest.
The restriction concerns the part of the railway section that still exists, from the Carnia station to Tolmezzo, as well as the buildings located in the municipalities of Amaro, Tolmezzo and Villa Santina.
A great victory for our association
Sunday 8 April, as part of the “Spring for Sweet Mobility 2018” initiatives, the association celebrates the National Day of Wonder Railways, with an exhibition of rolling stock on the sediment of the Carnia – Tolmezzo railway.
